As soon as he wraps his arms around her, Nina sets the lantern aside and clings. If his aim was to keep her from crying, this has the opposite effect. She breaks down immediately, all those months of trying to keep herself together suddenly overwhelming her. She buries her face in the crook of his neck, trying to get as close to the warmth of him as possible. Nina is fully aware that she's soaking his shirt through with tears, but she doesn't care.
