When he says there's no pain, Nina runs her hand down to his stomach instinctively. He seems fine. Feels fine. But before she can say so, he's leaning in to kiss her. For a split second, she's actually surprised. She's usually the one initiating, of course, but all of these realizations are hitting her slowly. He's okay, and she can actually kiss him again. Maybe that's morbid to do in a grave, but when his lips touch hers she responds anyway. It's not like she's ever cared about manners before.
